Professional Heiniger Opal

Introducing the new Opal cordless clipper, from Swiss based Heiniger. This cordless clipper eliminates the tangle of cable associated with a regular corded clipper with 240 minutes clipping from a 60 minute charge.

The Opal is sure to be a popular clipper in a number of different applications and are a popular clipper with dog grooming salons, show kennels, pet owners and stables.

In each of these environments the clipper has proven to give several advantages over a regular corded clipper.

- In the grooming salon the clipper eliminates the tangle of cable and gives greater freedom of movement around the salon, as well as helping avoid cable trip hazards. Some grooming competitions also now require the use of a cordless clipper. These clippers take standard A5 blades allowing your existing blades to be used
- When showing the cordless Opal allows the clipper to be used at the competition or when travelling, with the battery giving a total of 240 minutes of use away from home without charging.
- For the pet owner the Heiniger Saphir Style offers similar advantages to the grooming salon, however, the added freedom of the batteries means that clipping can be done away from the mains, for example a garage or garden shed, or even outside (weather permitting). Avoiding the mess of clipped dog hair in the house.

The Heiniger Opal has a great clipping speed of 3100 (and 2600 in slow mode) double strokes per minute in a lightweight package of 415g with a blade fitted, measuring 204mm x 50mm x 44mm. Compared to the Heiniger Saphir, this clipper is very similar in size, however, fast mode is significanlty faster, slow mode is a similar speed to the Saphir. Battery running time is up to 3 times that of the Saphir.
