I use this shampoo on my samoyed dog. It leaves his coat light and bright and as a samoyed coat should be i.e. not silky but stand off and with a harsher texture to the outer coat. With this shampoo it does take a few days for the correct coat texture to return, so would recommend you don't shampoo the day before a show. I would recommend this shampoo for samoyeds. Very pleased.
